Projects include application design for Dun & Bradstreet, VeriSign, Respond-TV, Tacitus, Raydiance, AstraZeneca; and web design for ISIS, NaturalPath, Frengo, AstraZeneca, Bayer, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Galderma, McNeil Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth.

2000-2002
Consulting Creative Director, the Dr. Spock Company
Provided strategic design and information architecture services for drSpock.com; served as creative director for web site and all print and marketing materials; provided design services and creative direction for advertising partners such as Johnson & Johnson and Nabisco.

1999-2000
VP Site Development, GreatEntertaining.com
Built internal design and production department of 35 people for this e-commerce startup. Worked closely with engineering, editorial and merchandising departments to architect, design and successfully launch site, implementing Vignette Story Server and Oracle ERP, in just 3 months. Site included 4000+ products and product sets with custom photography and product descriptions, expert content, and community.

1996-1999
Founding Partner and Creative Director, Shift Media Inc.
Managed profitable interactive design and development studio with 8 employees. Served as chief information architect and creative director, supervised day-to-day operations and collaborated on long-term strategy. Negotiated 1999 buyout by GreatEntertaining.com. Projects included: Colin Powell's America's Promise joint web and AOL site launch with live web cast; Chinese AOL-like "walled garden" internet service prototype (Intel); TVQuest interactive on-screen television guide (Intel); Nielsen-NetRatings website; UI design for WorldGate interactive TV; Thrive Online web and AOL sites, and VH-1 and Tower Records AOL sites. Ongoing design and maintenance clients included: America Online, Bank of America, Cartoon Network, and The Body Shop.

1995-1996
Creative Director, America Online

Supervised the design and production of a variety of e-commerce and content sites on AOL. Primary responsibility was the front-end GUI of AOL 2.0 and 2.5 client applications. Left AOL to found Shift Media, one of AOL’s first Affiliate Studios.

1991-1995 Art Director, Medior Inc.
Designed and art directed numerous interactive properties, including the AOL 1.5 client application, The Mayo Clinic Family Health CD-ROM; Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus CD-ROM; Sunset Western Garden CD-ROM; and Time-Warner Interactive TV Trials. Designed one of the first shopping carts, for the 2Market CD-ROM, an early e-commerce joint venture between Apple, AOL and Medior that became AOL’s Marketplace. Medior was acquired by AOL in 1995.
